Our Sunday Services

At St Saviour’s Parish Church

Sunday services at St Saviour’s combine elegant worship, beautiful surroundings, and challenging preaching. Around 500 people worship regularly at our services, and we’d love you to join us.

Our worship has two strands: formal and informal.

Formal Strand:

  • on the first Sunday of each month, we have a quiet celebration of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer. This lasts from 8.00am till 8.50am.
  • on all other Sundays, from 9.15am till 10.15am, we have a Holy Communion service with choral music. This service stands within the central/catholic tradition of the Church of England.

Informal Strand:

  • on the first Sunday of each month, we have an all-age service called Worship Together. This service has an interactive approach, with contemporary music led by our Worship Band. The service lasts from 10.45am till 11.30am.
  • on all other Sundays, we have an informal service of Morning Worship, suitable for adults and also for teenagers – though, of course, children are also very welcome. Alongside this, we have an informal service for preschool children and their parents/carers, and informal services for primary school age children. All these services begin at 10.45am and finish at 11.30am.

In addition, on the fourth Sunday of each month, our choir sings Choral Evensong from 6.30pm till 7.30pm.

At St Andrew’s Church Centre

A small congregation meets for a quiet and informal Eucharist on the first Sunday of each month at Sunday at St Andrew’s Church Centre, Noctorum. This service lasts from 2.00pm till 3.00pm.
