Christians have always seen sharing food together as a way of celebrating God’s goodness to us and of building up friendships. The Bible also places a particular emphasis on the importance of offering hospitality to others. Throughout the Bible, and particularly in the New Testament, there are many encounters with God centred around meals.
For this reason, sharing time together and showing hospitality to others are important in the life of our parish family.
If you’d like to get involved, there are two ways to do so.
No cooking ability is required, just an enthusiasm to welcome and serve others.
Our Catering Team prepares light refreshments after our main Sunday services, and also more substantial refreshments on some special occasions in our yearly calendar when we gather together as a Christian community and when we welcome others.
