The Parish of Oxton is a busy church, with lots going on. The work here is growing as the numbers attending our services increase and as we begin new ministries.
In total, it costs around £200,000 per year to fund our Parish’s work. We are entirely self-funding and receive no central government support. So it is the generosity of people at St Saviour’s and St Andrew’s that enables the Church’s work here to grow and to flourish.
Members of our church give generously to the life and work of the church in many diverse ways. We can all make a real difference as we make our time, our talents, and our money available to God.
There are three ways to do this:
An easy hassle-free way to give to parish funds and to tidy up your attic!
We’re looking for clean, good quality items to sell on our parish eBay account. We’ll be delighted to sell the item for you on this account, and to parcel it up and send it out to the purchaser. Contact us on ebay(at)oxtonstsaviour.co.uk
You can give electronically to our parish at any time using PayPal.
Alternatively, if you shop online, you can make a free cash donation with every purchase if you join www.TheGivingMachine.co.uk.

You may also wish to consider leaving a legacy to the church in your Will. To read a leaflet giving more details about this, please click on this link: Oxton St Saviour 2014 – Information on legacy giving
If you pay tax (Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax) in the UK, then Gift Aid is a simple way to increase the value of your gift to the church.
Gift Aid is a scheme enabling churches and charities to reclaim basic rate tax paid by a donor on eligible donations. Through Gift Aid you can increase every eligible donation to your church by 25% (25p on every £1 donated) at no extra cost to yourself. (If you pay higher rate tax, you may recover this through your own tax return.)
The scheme is easy, straightforward, and confidential. In order to take part in the scheme, you need to complete a Gift Aid Form. If you have any questions, please contact our Planned Giving Recorder, Jan Taylor, at email@example.com
If you’d like to know more about Giving, please speak with our Planned Giving Recorder, Jan Taylor, or contact us using the form below.
And lastly, thank you from everyone in our parish family for your generous giving.
