Mothers’ Union is a Christian mission organisation with four million members working to support families and communities in 80 countries throughout the world. Membership is open to all who have been baptized in the name of the Trinity and who support the Aims and Objectives of the Society.
Our local branch has about 80 members and usually meets in the Parish Centre on the first Tuesday of the month at 2.15pm. In addition, there are outings and an annual Christmas lunch.
The essential heartbeat of Mothers’ Union is its commitment to prayer. Members worldwide are united in a daily 24-hour Wave of Prayer. Members bring a wide variety of practical help and support to the Church and communities through project work, prayer, and fellowship.
