Messy Church is coming

A new venture for you and your family

We are looking forward to our first Messy Church on 10th February. (Future dates: 17th March, 21st April, 19th May, 16th June, 14th July).

Just a reminder (for full details see the January “Oxton Outlook”) that Messy church is on a Wednesday once a month, when families of all ages can come together to enjoy being together, eating together and worshipping together.  There will be play, creative activities, stories, worship and a meal.  A responsible adult such as a parent, grandparent or carer (with parental consent), should remain with the child.  The whole idea is for families to worship and grow together in the Christian community.

You are warmly invited to join us at Messy Church and we are also still looking for volunteers to help with furniture, with the food, craft activities, worship, administration, playing a musical instrument or general dogsbodying.

Messy church begins on Wednesday 10th February lasting from 3.30 p.m. until 5.30 p.m.  It will be in St. Saviour’s Parish Centre in Room 3.  All equipment, materials and food will be provided, although any donations towards food costs would be gratefully received.  All who are interested in helping or have any questions please contact anyone from for Messy Church Committee (see below), otherwise we look forward to welcoming you to this new venture of Messy Church 0n 10th. February.

Do continue to pray for Messy Church, for this new project reaching out to families and for the planning and organisation in getting it started.
