 The Font St Saviour's Church

Around the base of the font in Roman capitals it says that the font was erected by Annie Eliza Krietmair, wife of Francis

T,B. Kreitmair of Noctorum, and is dated 1891. The font is of alabaster and is octagonal. There are four figures with niches and four emblems in the panels. The niches show Christ with a lamb and then the three evangelists, St. Luke, St. John, and St. Mark with their usual symbols of an ox, an angel and a lion. The panels between the figures contain the Pascal lamb, the holy dove descending, three fishes on a wavy background to represent water, and a cross.
