Who we are /Parish Organisations

We are part of the central/catholic tradition of The Church of England. We believe in ministry to the whole Parish and so are available for all irrespective of whether you attend church or not. The worship we offer in our churches is thought through and whilst being traditional in nature is living, growing and developing as we seek to be church in the community. We believe that a combination of good music, thoughtful preaching and structured liturgy provides inspiration and challenge. We use the Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship.

Amongst our organisations are the following:

The Church Choir

Sunday School and Junior Church

Church Youth Club and a Group for older teenagers

St Saviour's Toddlers Group which meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings

The Mothers Union (a large, very lively group)

Various Study/Fellowship Groups

A Prayer Group

A Healing Group

Pre Baptism Visiting Group

Various Uniformed Organisations which include Church Lads and Church Girl's Brigade, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides

Tower Bellringers

For information on any of the above please contact The Parish Office 0151 653 3366. Fax 0151 653 7251 or email oxtonstsaviour@btinternet.com
