Young People
Our church family at St Saviour’s includes people of all ages. Just like in your family it is great when we are all together - so every Sunday we gather together, as a family in church to worship God. Of course, even when we are together, we don’t always want to do the same things.
At a family party, some family members might want to play on the bouncy castle while others might prefer something less energetic! And so it is in church. We all like to worship God in different ways.
For that reason, at St Saviours we give you and your family a number of different options so you can choose the thing that works best for you.
Some children will want to stay with their family in the main service - and that’s great! We have a special service book to help you follow the service. For younger children we also have toy bags.
Or you might prefer worshiping with children about the same age as you. If so then please have a look at what is going on in the Parish Centre. We have three groups
· Sand - For the very youngest babies and toddlers, and children who are not yet old enough to go to school
· Pebbles – For slightly older children
· Rocks – If you are older still
