You can find below information about accessing emergency food, and also about how to join us in supporting the work of Wirral Foodbank.

Do you need emergency food?

People who are in need of emergency food, for whatever reason, please visit www.wirral.gov.uk/foodhelp and provide your details via the short online form.

Anyone who is unable to go online, or has problems completing the form, you can call

  • Wirral Foodbank on 0151 638 7090 (Monday to Thursday 10am – 1.30pm, excluding Bank Holiday),
  • Citizens Advice Wirral on freephone 0808 278 7848 or
  • the Wirral Council Helpline on 0151 666 5050.

Emergency out office hours, between 5.00pm and 9.00am Monday – Friday, Bank Holidays, and all day Saturday and Sunday, please contact Emergency Social Services 0151 677 6557.

Supporting the Foodbank

We are collecting food for Wirral Foodbank at the back of our Parish Church.

If you can, we invite you to consider bringing with you to church each Sunday one or more items for Wirral Foodbank.

Together, we can help our neighbours in food poverty this winter.

Wirral Foodbank provides the following list of items which it urgently needs:
