Lenten Fruit

Lenten Fruit

Our Bible text for Lent is Galatians 5:22f: The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Each day in Lent, we shall be allowing this beautiful biblical text to speak to us and to help us examine our consciences. We’d love you to join us!

To join in, visit our Church’s Facebook Page from 8.00am every day, where you will be able to see a new post with that day’s reflections. You don’t need to be a member of Facebook in order to see these posts and join us.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Galatians 5:22f.

Examination of conscience can sound like a rather dreary thing to do. But it’s needn’t be! Think of it more like a spring clean for the soul, or a spiritual MOT. It gives us the opportunity to spot where we’d like to make some changes in our lives and to ask God to help us to do this. Really, it’s about intentionality: taking responsibility for becoming a better version of ourselves and even becoming more Christlike.
