St Saviour’s Parish Church
Our beautiful Parish Church is the centre of our Christian worship and the focus for Christian community life.
On an average Sunday, around 300 people attend worship at St Saviour’s. Around 60 of these are children. We offer opportunities to worship on Sundays in a variety of styles – both formal and less formal – and we welcome a wide range of people to these services. At St Saviour’s, we are able to combine the vibrancy of a large church community with a friendly ‘family’ feel.
In addition, we have a number of quiet midweek services, with a more reflective feel.
Our Church regularly welcomes groups from schools and elsewhere for special services, and often hosts musical and other events. We warmly invite you to join us for worship, on Sundays or during the week, or for one of the other events taking place in our church.
Adjacent to our Parish Church is our Parish Centre, opened in 2005 and popular as a venue for many community and church events.
St Andrew’s Church Centre
Forty years ago, our parish community opened St Andrew’s, a small community church at a site on the Noctorum housing estate, on the geographical edge of our parish.
St Andrew’s has a multipurpose worship area, with a church hall alongside it. The hall is used by a number of organisations, and is also available for hire.
Today, at 4.00pm on the first Sunday of each month, we offer a warm welcome, light refreshments and crafts for children at our Worship@4 service, which is an informal service with Communion.
